Check a plot against satellite evidence

Start with a known location or enter your own coordinates. This public demo screens plots up to 100 hectares. It reads open archives, reuses recent raster reads, and shows uncertainty when a source is unavailable.

Coordinates

This runs for real. It opens the JRC global forest map granule covering these coordinates - 276 MB - over HTTP range requests, reads a few kilobytes from the middle of it, then does the same for the Hansen loss record and a stack of Sentinel-2 scenes. Allow up to one minute. If recent imagery is slow, the result clearly marks that evidence as unavailable.

Try a known place

Choose a location to inspect the forest baseline, annual tree-cover loss, and recent Sentinel-2 evidence. The presets use cocoa plots in Côte d'Ivoire. Satellite screening is one input to due diligence, not a legal clearance.
